WebI've used Ampeg, Tech21, Fender, Sunn and Peavey over my bass playing lifetime through 15", 12", and 4x10 cabs. I also use a Zoom processor. Based on my experience, the Peavey MiniMax V2- 600 is the best amp I've used to date. Of those I've mentioned the Tech21 is probably the closest comparison of build & sound quality and features. It is very small, lightweight, durable, and gets loud enough to be heard. It won't compete with a drum set, but it is not designed to do that.
